Our premium selections of Coffees and Teas, Lassi’s and fresh Fruit Juices will elevate your Café experience. The culinary journey does not end here – we proudly bring innovative signature offerings that include Beef Rendang Pies, Oven Roasted Chicken and Fries, Eggs Balado Croissant Sandwiches, Kothu Roti and Sri Lankan Hoppers. Wingell Hospitality Group in Ottawa is proud to announce an exciting new addition to Dhruvees and Café by Dhrurvees as Chef Consultant and Mentor: Chef Chaminda, a seasoned maestro in the world of gastronomy, is set to bring his wealth of experience and innovative flair to our beloved café.
Born and raised amidst the vibrant culinary tapestry of Sri Lanka, Chef Chaminda’s journey into the world of food began at a young age. Inspired by the rich flavors and aromas of his homeland, he embarked on a culinary odyssey that took him from the prestigious halls of the Ceylon Hotel School to the bustling kitchens of renowned establishments around the world.

In his current role as the Executive Chef at REAL DISTRICT in Regina, Chef Chaminda has been instrumental in revolutionizing the culinary landscape, overseeing multiple locations including the prestigious Mosaic Stadium complex home for the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Brandt Center arena.
His visionary approach to food has garnered rave reviews and loyal followers, establishing him as a trailblazer in the industry. Chef Chaminda brings his unparalleled expertise and creative vision to Dhruvees and Café by Dhruvees in Ottawa, as he joins forces with Wingell Hospitality Group, to elevate the café’s culinary offerings to new heights.

Café by Dhruvees is serving an array of Fruit and Spiced Lassi’s under the brand “Yo Lassi Inc” which is a subsidiary of Wingell Hospitality Group. To elevate the Breakfast and All Day dining experience, the café will host cultural events, live music performances, and culinary workshops. Guests can engage with Chef Chaminda beyond the plate, delving into the culture that transcends the boundaries of more than just Food and Beverage.
